2. Does Storage Master have climate controlled units?
Yes. We have climate controlled and standard drive up units.

3. How much notice needs to be given before I move out?
All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require a 30-day notice before you move out.

4. What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport). We also need a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and be at least 21 years old to use our moving trucks.

5. Is there a security deposit?
No. We trust you. However, there is a one-time administrative set-up fee.

6. Are there any discounts or Specials?
Yes. We offer Free Truck usage for move-ins, $1 move-ins, and a 10% discount on storage units to students and active military personnel. See our Specials Tab on our website by clicking here.

7. Do I need Climate Controlled Storage?
Wisconsin has extreme cold temperatures that can reach to a minus 30° F in the winter months. These dramatic cold temperatures can cause damage to musical instruments, wood furniture, or books and other valuables. For added protection of your valuables, you should consider renting a climate controlled storage unit. Climate control means that we use reasonable efforts to heat storage units in winter and cool them in summer. They are not humidity controlled. However they are located inside of a building for added protection of stored items.​

8. How do I make a payment?
You can pay in person, mail a check or money order or make a payment through our website. You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.

9. What forms of payment do you accept?
Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover and cash.

10. Is there an additional charge for paying on-line?
No.

11. Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?
Yes. We sell a variety of moving supplies in our office at discounted prices.

12. How do I know how much storage space I will need?
You can either use the Storage Size Guide or call our manager for assistance.

13. Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?
Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

14. Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?
No. At the time of signing you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.

15. Do you have handcarts available at your facility?
Yes. You are welcome to use our complimentary carts to move in.
